WCC offers to the large public of football fans and to the firms interested in sponsoring events the following exclusive initiatives: “The Champions Promenade” and the “Golden Foot”. Both the initiatives come from an idea of the WCC chairman, Mr. Antonio Caliendo, and from the passion for football of HSH the Crown Prince Albert of Monaco. “The Champions Promenade” is a promenade on the seafront of Monte Carlo dedicated to the footprints of the greatest football players in the world. Year after year it will see the legends of football, who win the “Golden Foot”, leave their footprints on the Promenade and turn Monte Carlo into a sort of “Hollywood for football”. “The Golden Foot” is a recognition of the whole career of legendary players of the past and of a player, still in activity, that is chosen through the internet votes (on the website www.goldenfoot.com ) of his fans from all over the world. Every year the winner and the legends of the past, chosen by a special jury, are invited to leave their footprints on “The Champions Promenade”. WCC and Monaco Toursim Office are involved in the management and the promotion of this international event and of all the initiatives related to it on the media worldwide.
