A Baniyas official last night confirmed that the former France striker David Trezeguet has agreed terms on a one-year contract to join the club this season. Details of the deal will most likely be made available next week, according to the club official, with the World Cup winner rumoured to be in line for a pay day of €1.7 million (Dh9m) for his services.
